Mutton Paya Soup

Ingredients:
4 nos- Lamb trotters/legs, cleaned
1- Onion, chopped
1- Tomato, chopped
1 tbsp. Ginger, crushed
1 tbsp. Garlic, crushed
1 tsp. Black Peppercorns
2- Green chilies, chopped
½ tsp. Turmeric powder
2 tbsp. Oil
Salt to taste
2 tbsp. Coriander leaves, chopped


Method:

1. Mix trotters, onion, tomato, ginger, garlic, black peppercorns, green chilies, turmeric and oil in a pressure cooker.
2. Pressure cook until you get 7-8 whistles.
3. Allow it to cool and add salt, again pressure cook until you get 3-4 whistles.
4. Garnish with coriander leaves. Serve hot with dosa.
Note: Remember to add salt after step two not before that because if salt is added initially the trotters take time to cook.
