Aloo Gosht

Ingredients:
500 gm. Mutton
3- Onions, sliced
1 small- Tomato, chopped
¼ tsp. Turmeric Powder
2 tsp. Coriander Powder
1 tsp. Red chili powder
½ tsp. Black pepper powder
1 tbsp. Ginger Garlic Paste
Salt to taste
1 ½ cup- Water
4 tbsp. Oil
4- Green Chilies
1 tsp. Garam Masala Powder
4- Cardamoms
4- Cloves
2 stick- Cinnamon
½ cup- Yogurt
3-4 Potatoes
½ cup- Green Coriander, chopped
Ginger julienne, for garnish

Method:
1. Heat oil in a saucepan, add cardamom, cinnamon, cloves and fry for few seconds.
2. Add the sliced onions and saute until they have turned translucent and soft.
3. Then add the tomato, ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder, turmeric powder, black pepper powder, Coriander powder and salt .Stir on a medium heat until the ingredients have combined and formed a paste.
4. Then add the mutton, green chili and fry for few minutes.
5. Add water and cook on a low flame until the gravy has thickened.
6. Add the potatoes, yogurt, garam masala powder and stir. Cover and cook until the oil floats on top and the potatoes are done.
7. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and julienne ginger.
8. Serve hot with rice and plain naan.
