Ingredients:
1 kg- Mutton
½ tsp. Turmeric powder
Salt to taste
4 tbsp. Oil
2- Onions, chopped
6- Whole Red Chili
1 tsp. Mustard Seeds
3- Cloves
A pinch of- Asafetida
1 tsp. Red Chili Powder
1 tsp. Cumin Seeds
1 tsp. Kalonji
½ tsp. Fennel seeds
2 tbsp. Ginger –Garlic paste
3 tbsp. Lemon Juice
4 tbsp. Yogurt
3- Tomato, chopped
Dry Roast and powder:
1 tbsp. Coriander seeds
½ tsp. Fenugreek Seeds
1 tsp. Aniseeds
1 tsp. Cumin seeds
4- Dry Red Chili

Heat oil in a heavy bottom pan and sauté the onion until translucent, add the
ginger garlic paste, and stir fry for 2 minutes.

Add the dry roasted ground spice powder, mix well.

Add mutton, chopped tomatoes, red chili powder, turmeric powder and salt. Stir
fry until the oil floats on the top.

Add whole red chili, mustard seeds, cloves, cumin seeds, kalonji, fennel seeds
and fry.

Then add lemon juice and yogurt and mix well.

Add a pinch of asafetida and 2 cups of water, cover and simmer till the meat is
tender.
