Ingredients:

kg- Prawns
2 cups- Basmati rice
4 tbsp. Cooking
oil
½ tsp. Turmeric powder
1 tbsp. Red chili powder
2- Onion, chopped
1 tbsp. Ginger Garlic
paste
2- Green chili
2- Tomato, chopped
½ cup- Fresh coriander leaves
½ cup- Mint leaves
½ cup- Yogurt
Salt to taste
Spices:
1
stick- Cinnamon
2- Cloves
2- Cardamom
1- Bay
leaf
1/2 tsp. Cumin
Method:
1. Marinate prawns with turmeric powder, red chili
powder and salt for 20 mins.
2. Wash rice and soak in water 30 mins.
3 . Heat oil in a large pan.
4. Add the spices, onion and salt. Cook till
transculent.
5. Add the ginger garlic paste and fry for 2 to
3 mins.
6. Add green chilies and chopped tomato. Fry
till the tomatoes are well cooked.
7. Add chopped coriander and mint leaves. Sauté
for a minute.
8. Add yogurt and combine.
9. Now add the prawns and mix well.
10 . Add rice, combine and check for salt and seasonings.
And cook until rice is done.
11. Mix the biryani carefully, making sure
the rice does not break. Garnish with few mint and coriander leaves. Serve hot
with raitha.
