Ingredients:

gm- Chicken, boneless cubes

cup- Wheat, washed and soaked for 2 hours

cup- Lentil pulses, washed and soaked for 2 hours

cup- Rice, washed and soaked for 2 hours

tbsp. Garlic, crushed

tbsp. Ginger, crushed

tbsp. Mint leaves, chopped

tbsp. Coriander leaves, chopped

cup- Ghee

tbsp. Khichra spice mix
Salt
to taste

tsp. Turmeric

tsp. Carom seeds

tsp. Garlic powder

tsp. Dried ginger
1
tsp. Coriander seeds

tsp. Cumin seeds

tsp. Nigella Seeds

tsp. Star aniseed

Bay leaf
Method:
1.
Roast all the ingredients under khichra spice mix and grind together.
2.
Heat 1 cup of ghee add chicken cubes, ginger, garlic and khichra spice mix and
fry for few minutes.
3.
Add soaked wheat, lentil pulses, rice and chicken stock water.
4.
Boil on low heat for 2-3 hours or until all the ingredients are completely
tender. Stir several times during cooking.
5.
Then add salt, mint leaves and coriander leaves.
6.
Cover and cook for few minutes. Serve hot.
